LUK YU TEA HOUSE

Luk Yu Tea House pays tribute to China’s tea house and dim sum culture by re-creating the warm and welcoming ambience of traditional tea houses with an open side entrance reminiscent of villages in ancient China. An enticing pork-free menu offers steaming fresh Hong Kong dim sum and a comprehensive range of Chinese delicacies from its open kitchen, complemented by a wide selection of fine teas from Taiwan and China.

Introduction

Watch the chefs at work or sit elevated at the mezzanine to enjoy your meal in the open concourse of Starhill Gallery, Kuala Lumpur (KL) as the rest of the world whirr around you. You could choose to sit at the ‘courtyard’ or simply admire the mesmerising latticework forming the restaurant walls. The lattice walls are based on the ethnic tribes of China, creating a map of China in a fascinating kaleidoscope of patterns and colours.
